Text of report by Bulgarian radio on 26 September

Vehicle access to the area of the protected zone within the Kozloduy nuclear power plant has been subjected to more precise rules and restricted to a minimum. This was announced for the Khorizont programme of the Bulgarian National Radio by Yordan Kostadinov, Kozloduy N-plant executive director.

He added that the reactors' chief and duty engineers have been instructed to adopt measures related to the reactors' safety. Control over access to the restricted zone around the Kozloduy N-plant has also been enhanced.

Automatic control over the access to the special zone around the fifth and sixth reactors has been introduced, as part of countermeasures against possible terrorist acts aimed against the Kozloduy nuclear power plant.
